With centralized visibility and granular inventory management, Token Security enables organizations to effectively track and secure service accounts, API keys, and other NHIs, improving both security and operational efficiency.
Your Role:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Cybersecurity Sales Executive to join our team as our first dedicated Sales Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for selling our advanced non-human identity security solution to senior IT and cybersecurity executives. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in identity and cloud security, with a proven ability to build trusted relationships and close deals with C-level executives, especially CISOs and other technology leaders.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and lead qualification to contract negotiation and closing. Your focus will be on delivering results against quarterly and annual sales targets within the North American market. This role will require at least 30% travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet our sales targets in the identity security space.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that convey the value proposition of our solutions
- Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
- Engage with senior IT and cybersecurity executives, including CISOs, CTOs, and CIOs, to understand their challenges and position our solutions effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, and product management) to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, becoming a trusted advisor for their identity security needs.
- Stay current on market trends, competitor offerings, and the latest developments in identity security.
What You’ll Bring:
- 5+ years of sales experience in the North American cybersecurity industry, experience in cloud/identity/PAM/IGA is a significant advantage.
- Proven track record of managing and achieving around $1 million in sales quotas.
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud security, identity security, and non-human identities is a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with IAM, PAM, IGA, CIEM, ITDR, or related security technologies is highly preferred.
- Strong initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal direction.
- Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Experience selling cloud-based security solutions and working in the enterprise market.
- Previous experience in fast-growing startups or high-pressure sales environments.
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts clearly and persuasively.
